This will depend on what, if anything, has been previously applied to the surface. Bare concrete that has never been coated must be etched with muriatic acid and given two coats of the appropriate product. The coating will depend on your choice of "sheen level." Products we recommend include concrete stains and catalyzed urethane deck paints. If the surface has been previously painted, new coatings must be compatible for best adhesion.

When you want to mount the fence atop your concrete pool apron, for example, you can use floor flanges on the posts. These are bolted down using lag bolts and anchors which are available at any hardware store. You'll need four 3/8" x 2" bolts per post. It is not unusual to have an angle other than a 90 degree corner. You can use a corner post or a line post, depending on the angle. Basically, anything wider than 90 degrees, use a line post. Less than 90 degrees, use a corner post.

No. You can incorporate all of these into your landscape, but we will not include these areas in determining your incentive. RadonSeal penetrates the deepest (up to 4 inches) into concrete, reacts chemically, bonds and strengthens it. It seals sound concrete against water, vapor and radon gas. It provides the tightest seal and is permanent. The surface does not change, does not bead water, and remains paintable. LastiSeal penetrates very deep (2–4 inches) and hardens inside the concrete or bricks. It is manly designed for waterproofing. Unlike RadonSeal, it does not depend on the content of cement.

Most decks are constructed of pressure treated lumber. A penetrating deck stain tends to work best on the horizontal surfaces (flooring) of decks due to constant foot traffic. The vertical surfaces of decks and fences may be stained or painted according to personal preference. Check the porosity of the wood before attempting to stain by sprinkling water on the surface. If the water beads, then the stain will not penetrate the wood.

It will take some research on our part but we are thinking about doing concrete. A very cool and specialized glue! It does its job then you can roll it into ball and ... well, have a ball with it. The glue that is used for "tip ins" (magazine jargon) is referred to as a Peel and Stick glue.

Different structure of the walls & floor i.e. fibreglass has just a approx 20mm thick wall of fibreglass where as a concrete pool has a 150mm concrete section interlaced with steel reinforcing at least every 300mm apart. It then has an internal water proofing layer of either 20mm Pebblecrete (pebble & cement) or a layer of ceramic tiles. The concrete pool can be constructed to almost any shape to suit your backyard or your imagination where as fibreglass pools are limited to set moulds.

The best way currently is to use your liquid dish detergent with warm water and rub w/fingers to remove and oil and dirt, than wipe with an optical cloth.
