All claims require the insured laptop owner to pay a deductible amount from the repair or replacement cost (See Question 13). An Inpatient plan usually covers in-patient or day care treatment, post hospital treatment, nursing at home, emergency evacuation, repatriation or burial of mortal remains, emergency dental. The City's vision plan is through VSP and it covers one routine eye exam per year if you go to a VSP provider. If you purchase eyeglasses through a VSP provider, you will receive a 20% discount. There is a 15% discount on the evaluation and fitting of contacts from a VSP provider.

The university-sponsored health insurance is an accident and illness plan with a maximum benefit of $250,000 aggregate per year. The policy covers immunizations, an annual physical examination (no co-pay), an annual women’s examination (no co-pay), and contraceptives (with a co-pay) if provided by Thagard. There is an annual deductible of $100.00 (for the student) when referred to a community provider. Preexisting conditions are covered with no waiting period or internal limit.
