All faculty and Staff with a csuchico email address have a personal folder automatically created for them on the Bay shared file server. From your office computer, Windows users can access this folder by going to My Computer and opening Drive U. The problem comes when trying to browse files or directories from an Windows XP based system with Service Pack 2 (SP2) installed. You may be able to see top level directories fine. When you try to open the next levels of directories down the path, at some point, NO files or folders show up where they are supposed to. The Rangboom client makes your shared directories visible to you and your group members. The server does NOT store any files. All files are accessed through the client. There are no routing issues, because the client establishes the link to the server. The data is requested directly from each member's machine, when it is needed. Read answer to previous question. Basically, you need to log into our server tt/RGMiller/. Once that is done, when you click on Network Neighborhood you'll see RGMiller as well as other machines.
