The traditional positions of police officer, deputy sheriff, highway patrol trooper, detective, FBI, Secret Service, and Drug Enforcement Administration special agent, criminal investigator, probation officer, corrections officer, and parole agent normally require peace officer standing. There are positions within the criminal justice profession that do not require peace officer status: deputy district attorney, assistant city attorney, assistant U.S.

Romans chapter 13, verses 1-7 states our need to be under the authority of our government as long as they do not ask us to violate God’s laws. To ensure fairness in all trials, the Provincial Court exclusively controls the assignment of judges to cases. There are no current degree requirements for court services or correctional officers in Cook County or Illinois. Executive Order 12898 (pdf 29k) requires federal agencies and its recipients to develop a strategy that prevents disproportionately high and adverse human health or environmental effects, including social and economic effects on minority populations and low-income populations.
