We prefer that during the group photos that nobody else takes photos. The reason for this is because multiple cameras distract the people in the picture and then the pictures that we take have eyes looking all over the place. The other problem is that various family or friends might try to take a shot and they don't know how to use their camera or their flash didn't go off and then they need everyone to wait while they fix that...etc. etc. and everything takes twice as long.
