I just got my braces, what should I eat?

dance.net - Brought to you by DLS another FAQ: Braces (21532...
The best thing that I ate was things such as applesauce, pudding, cereal after getting soggy, and peanut butter and jelly. Anything soft. Think, foods that a toddler can probably eat. Well, I am sorry. I don't know about you, but I would rather wear braces for a while then have bad looking teeth for the rest of my life. As you have them longer, you adapt to them. I don't feel mine anymore, I look in the mirror and I rarely even notice them. I actually can't really picture myself without them.

If it’s sticky, chewy, hard or crunchy, it is a food that anyone wearing braces or retainers should avoid. The real bad guys are caramel, gum and taffy. On the other hand, plain chocolate candy, peanut butter cups, Oreo cookies, fruit pies and ice cream are all A-OK! But candy lovers who gobble up sugary treats should always remember to brush their teeth thoroughly afterwards. See similar questions...

I just got a new tattoo on my leg - can I shave?

Johnny Jackson's World Famous Texas Body Art Tattoo Studio
After a couple days of stubble and bristly skin, the urge to shave can be overwhelming. Unfortunately, at this point, shaving is about as brutal on your tattoo as a weedwacker. The wound is still fresh, and especially if you have any scabbing or raised areas, you run the risk of damaging your artwork by running a razor across it. Chemical hair removers are just as bad if not worse - you never want to put anything like that on a fresh tattoo. Of course, you can shave the area around the tattoo. See similar questions...
