Yes! Travel can be one of the most exciting adventures during the surrogacy process and all of your expenses are covered. Your first trip is to Los Angeles to meet with the staff of the agency and conduct your required psychological and medical screenings. Epilepsy monitoring is the use of simultaneous video-electroencephalography (EEG). Performed on an inpatient basis, video-EEG provides brainwave recordings simultaneous with videotaping of the patient. This technique has been called long-term monitoring. Epilepsy monitoring takes many forms including: prolonged standard EEG, ambulatory EEG monitoring and simultaneous video-EEG monitoring.

Yes. Couples who have a surrogate interested in working with them may take advantage of our surrogacy "flex" program. This arrangement allows couples that may have a portion of their surrogacy arrangements worked out to integrate into our surrogacy arrangement protocol. There is generally no additional charge for this integration. Potential candidates should be between the ages of 21 and 39 years old, like being pregnant, and desire to help another family. She should be a non-smoker who maintains a healthy lifestyle, is willing to abstain from alcohol during pregnancy and limit caffeine intake. She should have a healthy body mass index (height/weight ratio), a history of full-term healthy pregnancy, physical custody of the resulting child or children, and health insurance.

She has studied the skills of intimacy, in many cases, more intensively than many counselors who may only be required to take one class in human sexuality to qualify for their advanced degrees.

The first step in the medical process is your screening with the physician. On this day, they’ll do blood tests on your and your partner if you are in a relationship. You’ll then undergo an ultrasound and consultation with the doctor who will explain the process. Once you have been cleared medically and matched with an intended parent, you’ll then move forward with the medical process.

Have reliable transportation and be able to travel to Los Angeles or other locations (at agency/intended parent expense) for screening, matching, and medical procedures. Definitely not, only your names and the name of your child are recorded on the birth certificate. There will be no mention of the surrogacy program. It's not difficult at all. Nobody could prevent you from travelling with your own child anywhere you want. After the birth we get you an official Russian Federation Birth certificate with your names on it - as parents. After that you get legal papers in your consulate and then we get an exit visa for your child.

The simultaneous use of video and EEG is needed to verify when seizures begin and what they look like. Ambulatory monitoring provides a recording of EEG that is focused at the time patients report in a seizure diary. An event marker pushed after the fact makes the correlation between the patient's event and the EEG. This correlation is loose enough that a random EEG discharge could be misinterpreted as part of a seizure depending on when an event was signaled.

The patient is admitted to the Regional Epilepsy Center on a Monday morning. Electrode sensors are attached to the patient's scalp. The patient is then escorted to the 6th Floor to a designated monitoring room and connected to the monitoring equipment. The equipment receives the EEG and incorporates digitalized EEG with the video image. online computer constantly monitors EEG changes. When a seizure has occurred, the computer records the time and a brief EEG sample of that event.
