Launched with funding from a US Environmental Protection Agency grant, Green Advantage? is the result of collaboration between the Nature Conservancy, Science Applications International Corporation, and the University of Florida. As a result of successful piloting and the work of scores of professionals assisting in the development of curricula, training and Exams, approximately 1000 building-related practitioners have taken the Green Advantage® Certification Exam.

Green Advantage® is a strong supporter of The U.S. Green Building Council® (USGBC) and USGBC Chapters. From 2003 to 2005 Green Advantage had a formal educational partnership agreement with USGBC. During this period, the two organizations crafted a protocol to help ensure a complementary relationship between the certification offerings.

The Green Party of Canada was founded in 1983, born from a conference held at Carleton University in Ottawa. Under their first leader, Dr. Trevor Hancock, the party ran 52 candidates in the 1984 federal election. DCP opened in Fall 2000 with 100 9th grade students and currently serves 400 students in grades 9-12. DCP graduated its third class of students in June of 2006. DCP now has graduated 129 students-100% of them were accepted to four-year universities and 81% of them are on track to earning a four-year degree.

Church of Southland began in January of 2001 with about 70 members and few children. At the beginning, Southland had its roots with GMI in Fullerton. However, very quickly, it established and has maintained its own independent identity and existence. In 2003, Southland became one of the founding members of an organization called Acts Ministries International. Southland has been meeting in various hotels within northern OC area for the past 4 years.

RoVac Systems was started after 12 years of providing quality service in the dryer vent cleaning, air duct cleaning and chimney cleaning fields. Our service company is under the name Magic Brush Chimney & Air Duct Specialists and was started as a part-time business that has grown to a very high profit full-time venture. Several years ago we realized that the future was in dryer vent cleaning.

Since 1997, the Foundation has provided yearly funding for at least 10 and as many as 33 teachers at all grade levels and in all schools. In 1932, Zonta International moved its headquarters from Buffalo, NY, USA to Chicago, IL, USA. In 1986, the Zonta International Convention Body voted to purchase the building at 557 West Randolph in Chicago’s downtown West Loop neighborhood that now houses Zonta's Headquarters. The building was erected in 1855 by Henry Horner and served as his home and place of business, “Henry Horner & Co., Wholesale Grocers and Flour Dealers.
