Pastels are very sensitive. Firstly, they must be framed under glass by a framer who is experienced with pastels. Secondly, we strongly recommend that the pastel is framed under a UV-blocking type glass. The pastels will fade under direct light unless UV glass is used. Wipe the casing with a soft dry cloth to clean the body of the thermometer. Never use any abrasive type cleaners or submerge the thermometer in water or any other liquids.
