No we do not. The cylinder escapement was quite advanced when it was invented by Tompion in 1659, but it fell out of use in the late 19th century as it was supplanted by the far more efficient and accurate English Lever escapement. We find that, in most cases, the cylinder watches we run across are not good candidates for restoration and can seldom be made into good timekeepers.
