It is recommended that the stimulator be turned off and the amplitude set to '0' (if appropriate for the therapy) prior to operating any potentially dangerous equipment. Caution is advised when using arc welders, as they emit large amounts of EMI (see What is EMI/RFI?). It is possible that the magnetic fields generated by arc welding could momentarily induce a voltage into the neurostimulator lead system - and you may feel this as a shock or jolt even when the neurostimulator is turned off.

It's a technology center that's unlike anything the library has had before. When welding in a floor and tunnel, use a rosette weld about 3" to 4" apart. It is not necessary to weld the entire edge of a floor. This will cause severe warpage (too much heat). When welding in a firewall, weld back through the holes you drilled to remove the stock firewall. DO NOT START ON ONE SIDE AND WELD ALL THE WAY TO THE OTHER SIDE.

ARC is in compliance with NCCA requirements at this time. The NCCA regulations require that an organization examine candidates for at least two administrations before applying for accreditation. ARC plans to apply for accreditation with the NCCA after that time.

Candidates will be able to challenge any questions, all submissions will be reviewed by PTC and ARC. PTC evaluates all question scores. If any question is consistently misunderstood or answered incorrectly by the majority of Exam Candidates the question is discounted, and not used again. Everyone will be able to contact PTC to verify an individual's status. ARC will issue Certificates to successful candidates, which can be displayed.

Yes. The examination tests a body of knowledge common to all of Aromatherapy. Specific items can be submitted to PTC for review. All questions are put through psychometric evaluation and item review. Questions and answers must be verifiable in reference texts. No one person will see or review all questions. If you are a licensed health care provider; for example, an RN, LMT, or MD, in many States you may be able to adjunct Aromatherapy to your current practice.

Arc-seconds and arc-minutes are used to measure very small angles. An arc-minute is 1/60 of a degree, and an arc-second is 1/60 of an arc-minute, or 1/3600 of a degree.

Be sure that all four corners are tied to the vehicle frame. Each frame bracket must be bolted to the vehicle frame with two bolts, unless optional weld is used. These instructions are guidelines only, actual installation is the responsibility of the installer and the owner. Either way is acceptable. If the you choose to have the brackets welded to the frame, Reese requires the brackets to be welded by a certified welder.

This is not a skill everyone can acquire. Thin stainless can be spot-welded which is suitable for the combustion chamber and case. The NGV assembly will require MIG or TIG welding. TIG sets are expensive and it may be necessary to find a specialist welder used to welding stainless steel to do the welding for you. Modern engines employ a casting for the NGV which is more stable during natural heat cycling.

It will weld thin metals like automotive sheet metals with minimal warpage up to ½ inch (optional tips may be required) A MIG or stick welder will do thicker 3/16 – ½ materials faster, but if you only have the Henrob it will do it just not as fast as the electric welders.

Weld decay refers to the intergranular corrosion, usually of stainless steels or certain nickel-base alloys, that occurs as the result of sensitization in the heat-affected zone during the welding operation.

A rosette weld is when you punch or drill a hole (approx. 5/16") through one place of material to weld into another piece of material. You use this type of weld when one piece overlaps another piece. All of Direct Sheetmetal’s floors weld in this way.

The small 1% of bikes that require a weld-on are the '95 and older models (if available) and the 85's & 100cc minis with an aftermarket triple clamp. That's the beauty of manufacturing everything in house. It's all in what kind of bike you own that will determine the cost and components necessary to mount up different configurations of dampers, bars, and clamps.
