Your email address will be your Outlook username followed by @bsu.edu If your username is jdoe, your email address will be jdoe@bsu.edu

If you run the .ini file to configure your PC for dialup access (see that section in the FAQ's) then that will also automatically configure Outlook Express with your new email address details. You can edit this (eg. to amend the name that emails are sent from) by selecting Tools, Accounts from the Outlook Express menu and selecting the DSSnet account that will have been created. (If it is not there, then see the section on re-running the .ini file in the Dialup FAQ's)

Three things: First, we will notify you by email if any of the bills you entered are re-entered by someone else (known as a 'hit'). Second, we will notify you of new and interesting happenings at Where's George?. Third, people will be able to send you anonymous email about your bills. Using MaxHire does not require changing how you use email at all. You keep the same address you use now. In fact, we have very good integration with Outlook so that many of the tasks that you do manually right now are automated using our proprietary Outlook add-in component. Your computer memorized a different password for the corresponding email address. In this case, do not use the password memorized by your computer. Instead, type in your password. Please note that password is case-sensitive. If you do not remember your password or are not sure what password you used before, you may request your password by using the "Forgot Your Password?" feature on our website.

You can change your User Name, Password or Email address by clicking on "For Buyers" or "For Sellers" at the top of any of our pages and then "Edit Account Information".

You can change your user details at any time in the Blog Control Center. Simply log in to www.magix-blog.com and click on "User details" in the navigation menu. Here you can make changes by clicking on "Modify user details"..

A user's work email address would normally be the safest, but where it is more practical to use a private (home) email address, that should be fine, except for a possible increased security risk, as this is also the email address that is used by the system for Password reminders. Read more about this HERE. All email reminders and notifications, generated by the system or sent by System Administrators via the system, also utilize the email addresses in User Files.

Click on "Login" and enter the user name and password you provided when registering (if you have forgotten your username, this is where you can enter your email address and we will send you your username and password).

All users, including Summary Users, can update their own email address by logging into their account. Summary Users will do this by clicking the "Edit User Info" link on their main page, and Full Site Users may change their email address from within Preferences. The best procedure for handling a typo in a user's email address is 1) go to the Contacts tab, 2) remove the user, and 3) re-invite the user with the correct information.

If there is something in your post that we need to check with you, we would like to get in touch. Any email addressed to a Disposable Email Address will be forwarded to the Real Email Address with which it is associated. The email address associated with your BitWise username can be updated by using the Preferences after logging in to Web Services. Once you enter your new address, you will receive an email that will contain a link for you to follow. After you follow that link, your new email address will be confirmed and entered into your user record.

IMPORTANT: If you do not confirm your email address, you will not be able to transfer any money your music may have earned. It's important we have a way to contact you. You can change your email address on the "My Profile" page in the Member Menu under "Contact Information". Here you can change some other information including search preferences, address and other preferences about your daily routines, habits, hobbies etc. After you've made your changes, click "Save Changes" at the bottom of the page to save.
