Do you have a filter to replace NSA filters?

Health At Home Direct
We do, in fact we have designed an exact replacement for NSA model 100 filters. Exact, in that NSA filters were unique in that they flowed down, rather than up. This is important because when replaceing an NSA filter, your plumbing will be set up with the inlet at the top and outlet at the bottom. If you replace with most any other filter, the inlet will be at the bottom and your plumbing may not reach.

How often do I need to replace my carbon filter?

GasBGon Frequently Asked Questions
This is dependent on the challenges imposed on the cushion. The average person passes gas 14 times a day. Not all outbursts however will be made on the specialty formulated membrane and we therefore based our design criteria on five outbursts per day. Based on this, our sample study shows a life span of six months for a women and half that for a man. The technically advanced filter in GasMedic will last two to four times longer. When should I replace my filters?

A good rule of thumb is to replace your sediment filter and carbon block after six months. A more precise way to maximize the useable life of these two filters is to use a pressure gauge to identify when pressure reaching the membrane starts to decline. This is your indication one or both of the filters is beginning to clog. Also be cognizant of the chlorine capacity of the carbon block. See similar questions...

The manual states every 30k. The OEM part cost less then 15 bucks and is located under the driver's side door in the frame rail. There is one bolt that keeps the filter in the bracket. Also, to lessen gas spillage remove the gas cap, and you can pull the fuel pump fuse under the hood, start it up and run it until it dies (note this may cause a CEL, but by disconnecting the battery, recommended while removing the fuel filter, it will clear the codes). Water Filters, Purifiers, and Purification FAQ
Most likely yes, as long as the housing is not tapered. Our replacement filters are designed to be universal and to fit most other point-of-use and whole-house filter housings on the market. If in doubt, email a photo of your existing filter together with its physical measurements (diameter and length) to us and we will confirm for you. See similar questions...

How often do I need to replace / clean my filter?

Frequently Asked Questions
This depends on what type of filter(s) you have, and the loading (loading refers to the amount of particles the filter has trapped). Essentially, you must replace the filter once it starts to reduce the air flow excessively. This can result in your furnace's heat exchanger over-heating, your safety limits getting damaged; it can even create a fire hazard1 It is also the leading cause of air conditioner services calls: a plugged filter can cause the evaporator coil to "freeze up". Doodlebug Pump -- FAQ
This is a very common (and difficult to answer) question. It depends a lot on your water conditions, water quality and your usage. In no case should you keep the filters longer than a year. The recommended changing interval is every six months. RO membranes can last up to two years, depending on water hardness. The harder the water, the quicker the membrane will fail. How often should we replace the HVAC system filter?

Air Conditioning and Heating Services for League City, Clear...
There's no one-size-fits-all answer. The frequency of filter changes is driven by how much your HVAC system operates, which is driven by the severity of the seasons. In some locations the cooling system might be in use more than four months of the year ? to keep heat and humidity under control. If your house is in such a hot and humid location, you should pay a lot more attention to your filter than in an area where the air conditioning is seldom used. The same logic applies to heating.
