How long does it take to get our scores back?

ACATs are scored during the last full working week of the month. All answer sheets received prior to that time will be processed. Typically, the score reports are mailed during the first working week of each month. Special scoring which does not conform to this schedule can be accomplished upon request for a fee.

How long does it take to receive my scores?

Once you have taken your examination it is sent to be scored. Results for multiple-choice exams are processed within approximately 4-6 weeks. Graphic divisions are processed within approximately 6-8 weeks of your test date. After processing, your score is forwarded directly to NCBA. NCBA records your score and sends it to you. Why does it take so long to get the scores posted and the standings updated?

The statistician for the VBHA is a volunteer position, like all the others. That person depends on the coaches or their score keepers to submit scores via email so that they can be compiled and added to the website. In the early part of the season, scores and standings are posted weekly, usually on Monday night.
