Our text message provider does support sending messages abroad. We have sent text messages to foreign countries and have had no negative reports. Please note however that we cannot guarantee that there will be no delays in the messages reaching non-UK networks.

You will have to investigate this on your own since it will be country/SMS-provider specific. It is possible that there is an internet-email to SMS facility or a SMS gateway you can use to send such messages. Ask the intended recipient to do some research for you. We do not currently send tips out by text message nor do we plan to add this feature in the near future. We do, as stated above, send the majority of tips the day before giving all members ample opportunity to log on to their computer and place their lays.

Group SMS Messaging uses a technique called Email 2 SMS, which sends an email to our provider to send the SMS. If you have a Firewall installed, for example Zone Alarm Pro, this can interfere with the sending of the email to our provider.
