If your baggage is damaged or tampered with, you have the right to claim compensation. At some airports, this will be paid immediately. In other cases, where this is not possible, you can replace your damaged baggage (from Baggage Assistance) with a new suitcase or bag from the selection made available at the airport or from a shop participating in the scheme.
