The College has no “majors”. Instead, we enable students completing a bachelor's degree to concentrate in a specific discipline or combination of subjects. By far, the most popular choice of “Concentration” is Individualized Studies which follows an interdisciplinary approach allowing students to customize their plan of study to better fit their background and goals.

Goldey-Beacom is Delaware's only nationally accredited College that is devoted solely to the study of Business. Students can select from such majors as Accounting, Management, Computer Information Systems, Finance, International Business, and Management Information Systems, to name a few.

The College of Business Administration also offers a variety of undergraduate certificate programs separate from the degree programs. Also, some majors offer tracks, such as entrepreneurship.

Yes, both programs will teach the same courses at the same time using common objectives. Faculty members on each campus independently design how they will teach to these common objectives using the expertise and preferred teaching methods unique to each campus and instructor.

The UW Testing Center offers regularly scheduled testing in French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, and Spanish.

The UW has seven different residence halls to choose from. Studies indicate that students who live on our campus have higher retention and graduation rates than those who live off campus. In fact, nearly 60 percent of incoming freshmen choose to live on campus every year.

Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art Studio (Ceramics, Digital Media, Drawing, Painting, Printmaking, and Sculpture)

We offer the Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degrees in Chemistry which differ in that the B.A. requires 9 chemistry courses and the B.S. requires 12 chemistry courses. The B.A. allows more flexibility to minor or major in another subject area, while the B.S. is strong preparation for graduate school or direct employment in the field. The Chemistry and Biology Departments cosponsor the B.S.

Principia offers 26 Bachelor of Arts majors and 6 Bachelor of Science majors. We also offer 4 minor programs with no major. Also if you have a specialized interest, you can design and petition for a special major, which can also include relevant courses offered at another college or university.

Your Undergraduate Catalog and faculty in departments are always a great way to learn more about the academic programs offered at JMU. Career & Academic Planning also coordinates an annual Majors Fair (held in February) at which the various departments are represented. The CSE department offers a series of courses culminating in the production of a computer animated short, CSE 450, 456, 458, 459, 460 taught by Barbara Mones. In addition, the DXARTS department offers an annual course sequence, DXARTS 450, 451, 598 Intro to Experimental Digital Video, taught by Shawn Brixey.

All University of Wisconsin campuses have academic staff.
