Shuffling data around on the undersized disk to different filesystems and creating symbolic links is not recommended. In situations where your system disk is no longer of sufficient capacity to accomodate your work, please contact help@cs.cmu.edu to discuss purchasing a new disk. Please do not buy a disk for your workstation without consulting us, first. Some workstations can support additional internal disks.

Yes! The big difference is that wet fuel may take 80% more air than dry fuel. Operationally, you may wish to meter the wet and dry fuel to create a consistent fuel blend or you may want to exhaust the least merchantable fuel before using a more valuable fuel. With the controls designed for this scenario, this can easily be accomplished. In general, any time there are continuous variations in fuel quality, it is desirable to have an operator near by the steam plant.

Should this happen, we recommend that you have your unit checked by a dealer or Certified Master Installer. If there is no dealer or Certified Master Installer available in your area, then follow the instructions in the User's Guide to bring your unit back to factory specifications. A moisture meter will accurately measure the moisture content of your wood. You can roughly check the dryness of your wood without a moisture meter by knocking two sticks together. If you hear a sharp sound, the wood is probably dry. If you hear a dull thud, the wood is not fully seasoned. Cracking and checking on the edges of a stick of firewood also indicates that the wood is seasoned and dry.

If you find your steamer has run dry during use immediately turn off the unit. Allow 10 minutes for your steamer to cool before adding more water.

Since Windows XP's built-in CD burning engine does not support burning ISO images to disk, you will need a third-party solution. There are lots of free or shareware utilities for Windows that can burn ISO images. Perhaps one came with your CD burner. (e.g. Nero) I used ISO Recorder Power Toy. It is a UI component that allows the use of the CD-Recording capabilities of Windows XP to record ISO images and copy CD to CD. The ISO Recorder uses existing OS features to copy an ISO image.

Most patients develop a tan or deepening of their normal skin pigmentation from PUVA therapy. The tanning may be uneven at first, with skin color lighter in areas affected by psoriasis. The EnviroVent was designed for conventional pottery techniques. A large load of burn-out pieces may momentarily overload the EnviroVent. We recommend smaller loads of burn-out pieces.

Check that the value of the "Number of threads" UCI parameter (or the "Threads" parameter in Glaurung 2) matches the number of CPU cores on your computer. Glaurung is not able to programmatically detect the number of CPUs, and may sometimes use two search threads by default on single-CPU computers. This will cause the program to run extremely slowly. If you compile Glaurung yourself, you must also make sure that NDEBUG is defined.
