First, you need to know how to fly, and equipment can initially provided by the school. Some people prefer to purchase their own new equipment and be taught for FREE. Our instructors will discuss appropriate choices with you.

Young gliders prove to be faster in training, but gliders of all ages can be trained. The older the glider the longer of a time frame in relationship building should be allowed. However, it is really up to you to make that decision.

This depends almost entirely on how much time your (and your family/household members) will be spending with the Sugar Glider and the emotional make up of your glider. Gliders are social animals and need interaction or they can grow lonely and get depressed and even sick. People that spend an hour or more a day interacting with a single glider out side of the cage normally have wonderful healthy and happy single gliders.

There are two-seat gliders (which are used for instruction) and there are single-seat gliders (which you only move onto once you are good enough to fly solo!).

Technically speaking, we fly sailplanes but the terms gilder and sailplane are often interchanged. We think of a "glider" as having a glide ration of less than 20:1. This means for every foot that it goes down, it goes 20 feet forward. There are sailplanes with glide ratios of over 60:1. The highest glide ratio in our fleet is the Stemme Motorglider with a glide ratio of 50:1.

The game itself detects the software by searching memory, your hard drive, window titles, or some other means. The current version of Glider (1.5.1 August 27, 2007) is not known to be detected by these methods. However, it is technically possible for Blizzard to change their detection scheme, if they come up with a new way to detect Glider. This risk cannot be avoided, as the game client can update any time.

Glider Elite is an optional subscription upgrade to Glider for $5 per month. Upgrading to Glider Elite unlocks several features that are not available in core Glider: Scripting behavior to customize Glider at key events, such as startup, hearth, profile loop, and others. Automatic login at startup and future handling to allow re-logging if disconnected and scheduled re-logging.

Even if your glider is made from Water-repellent fabric, try not to pack your glider when wet! This could damage fabric characteristics (especially its stability) and support mildew genesis. If there's no other way then dry it as soon as possible but away from direct sunlight. Don't let your glider come into contact with sea water. If it does, rinse (the lines, canopy and risers) with fresh water and dry before storing.

You sure can! Feel free to take as many photos as you please. The views are outstanding so it's great to capture the scene. However, there's nothing like seeing it for yourself! For safety we will ask you to keep your camera secure and stowed away during take off and landing.

THEY ARE A MARSUPIAL (POUCHED MAMMAL) NATIVE TO AUSTRALIA OR INDONESIA. THEY HAVE BEEN IN THE UNITED STATES SINCE THE EARLY 90'S.

It is not necessary in most states to have any type of permit or license to have a sugar glider as a pet. However I have heard of places wear there may be restrictions so check out any city ordinances or state laws to be sure. To the best of my knowledge having a Sugar Glider is not legal in California, Georgia or Massachusetts. Further, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Missouri, and Wisconsin seam to have at least some area (city or county) that does not allow ownership or sale of Gliders.

First, do whatever you need to do to prevent damage from being done. Such as putting them in an e-collar or even wrapping them up in fleece so they can not chew at themselves. It is better that they bite and chew you than themselves. You will not die from the bites but they often can do fatal damage in a very, very short time.
