We have for many years seen customers from all walks of life who suffer from hair loss for many different reasons, or who just wish to purchase a wig or hairpiece. We specialise in scalp problems and hair loss but also have a variety of clients wishing to purchase wigs just for fun or specific occasions.

You cannot dye synthetic wigs. You can rinse them though with color rinses such as Roux "Fancifull Rinse" which is available at any Sally's Beauty Supply store or drugstore. You can't rinse them lighter, but you can add color to rinse the synthetic wigs darker or a richer or different tone (ash or gold). Plain water may take out most of the rinse, so be careful in a soaking rain storm when wearing your wig after applying a color rinse. You may get the rinse on your face and clothes.

Turn your wig partially inside out. You will see two little tabs about where a man's sideburns would be on the wig. Those tabs end up over your temples and are what you use to tug the wig on. Hold the tabs and put the wig across your forehead. Pull in on the best you can and gently pull the back down over the wig cap. Re-center the wig using the tabs... push the wig back a bit... don't have it too far down.

The fabric must be able to withstand 60 degree Celsius water and must not be damaged by creasing. Cold dyes exist but they're a pain in the neck to use and the colour doesn't stand up to repeated washing. Buy some Dylon Hand Dye (Woolworths sell it along with their sewing stuff) and a bag of cooking salt. Then get hold of an old bucket or bowl, a pair of rubber gloves and a clean wooden stick (the bowl, gloves and stick will be stained afterwards).

If your product is to be garment dyed after the labels are sewn in, we recommend using our Woven Edge Taffeta Polyester with black print. We recommend specifying your intent to garment dye your product so we can provide you with the best possible labels for your purpose. Top

The technical answer is yes, but we do not recommend any further processing of the hair if it has already been dyed and processed. Further, only experienced colorists should attempt to color the hair. Remember that though the hair is 100% human hair, it is just as prone to damage from excessive processing as your own hair. We cannot and will not be responsible for the results.

A No and no! You can't remove it yourself. Unlike a wig or hairpiece, you don't "take it off" at night, or before you get in the shower; you don't need to "dress" it etc. The system is integrated into your existing hair so it becomes a part of you. This means that you can wash and style it just like you would a normal head of hair; you can swim, go out in the wind and rain etc. all without fear of detection.
