Eureka's Photo Magic sizes the photos to maximize them inside the printing dimensions you select without distorting them (keeping the aspect ratio intact). If you request a different aspect ratio than the photos have you will never get the size you entered - but the maximum size possible. We believe that the user would rather want undistorted images than the exact size. Definitely, that’s what Eureka's Photo Magic is made for.

No. Many news photos are not 100% proportional to the sizes listed above. A slight amount of white space may be visible around one or more of the edges of the printed photo. Art prints are cut so that the outer dimensions reflect the actual size of the images. This is why we say that art print dimensions are "up to" 16"x20".

Overwhelmingly NO! There is a huge range of equipment and expertise being touted for digital printing. Take a slide to one of those photo outlets and make an inexpensive "digital" print. If you're happy with the results then you don't need us. Ask your digital printer some questions. Ask if they maintain a color-calibrated work environment. Ask about archival life of the prints they produce. Ask about the experience of the people who will be making your print.

Tails are available in sizes to match conventional solid timbers. The difference between nominal and actual sizes are industry standard. For example the 4x6 is actually 3.5" x 5.5" and the 6x8 is actually 5.5 x 7.25". Dimensional tolerances are +/- 1/8".

Older versions of Netscape Navigator seems to convert pixel-based frame dimensions to whole percentages, and to use those percentage-based dimensions when laying out the frames. Thus, frames with pixel-based dimensions will be rendered with a slightly different size than that specified in the frameset document. Yes, they are. If they are short on either the horizontal or vertical dimension or if the prints are not squared off, it will be necessary to start over with new prints from you. If you want us to crop any prints for you, we will be happy to do so. No charge. Either mark lightly on the back in pencil or give us some written instructions or let us use our own judgment.

Because these photos are intended for editing or printing they should be of good quality and high resolution. It's recommended more than 800 pixels (largest side) at 300dpi, constrained aspect ratios from high resolution photos. Ideal size for a 3/2 ratio photo at 300dpi: 1800 pixels largest side, enought to print a 6" x 4" up to 12" x 8". For 4/3 ratio images, 1800 pixels largest side at 300ppi would be enough to print a 6" x 4.5" up to 10.6" x 8".

From the Fotopost home page click the red button. You will be asked to sign in with your user name and password. Your user name is your email address, and your password is your Fotopost Customer Number.Once the fotopost Uploader has been installed, use the browse button to find your digital images on your hard drive (A common place is c:\my documents). Select the image you want to have printed, and click open. Select the print size and quantity, and then press the upload now button.

Quit the Chart view screen. In the main screen click the Chart Options menu. Click on Aspected Points, then click on the Edit button. Add the same planets you use as Displayed Points to the list of selected planets and click Save. Then click Select. Put up the chart on screen and click Redraw.
