You can leave your car with us for the duration of the hire free of charge, this is entirely at the owner's risk and we cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage. Please be aware that we need to retain the keys to any vehicle left with us in case of emergency. Vehicles are stored in a secure under cover parking area nearby for the duration of the hire period at the owner's risk.

Yes, but in the case of a left hand drive vehicle, prior permission (before shipping it) has to be obtained from the Land Transport Safety Authority office in Wellington. You will be given a licence in your name, not for the car. This means you cannot sell the vehicle, unless it's age is 20 years or more or the vehicle has been converted to right hand drive. Importation for Customs is a separate matter.
