it took us about a week. With two different people putting in about 4-5 hours a day. So about 40 - 70 man hours. we used 1/2" CDX (just rough. ) plywood for the first two layers, and Masonite for the last layer. see the question about how to bend the wood, for more info. I have a feeling that the transitions would be too tight for BMX, and the Decks are definitely short, ( 2' 4" )

The keel for Titanic was laid in March 1909, and her hull was launched May, 1911. She was then towed to a fitting out basin where her interiors were installed. She was completed in Feb 1912. So it basically took 3 years to build the Titanic.

Frankly, we don't know and there's really no way to know! We start building new stuff after each show and reuse built items all the time. Some of us build all the time and some of us don't build for weeks.

There were many factors that determined the time it took to build a castle. Some bigger castles took up to 20 years to complete (such as The Tower of London). At an average of 7-12 years, building castles was a very difficult task. Even when finished, many kings and nobles would still improve a castle by strengthening the walls and towers. Timber castles were very effective against spears and arrows. Nevertheless, wooden castles were very weak against fire.

Work on building CAPS commenced in July 2001 and CAPS went live on 11th December 2002, period of about 18 months.

Construction was started on January 26, , and was completed on March 31, 1889, so it took two years, two months, and five days. Building the foundations required just over five months.

It takes several years to build and test a satellite, and the instruments that it will carry, and to make sure that they will work correctly together. Many times there are small problems that delay the launching for many months if not years. No - When a plan set is ordered, the license issued bears the name of the person that ordered the plan and the license is not transferable for any reason. It means that the plans are NOT stamped by an certified engineer. Some areas of the country require that the plans be stamped by a local engineer to obtain a building permit.

It all depends on how you define "work". Judge for yourself by looking at my Build History. Obviously I wasn't working on it continuously, but I did spend considerable amounts of time and energy for almost four years.

It took about 3½ weeks. They started felling trees on December 9 and had it finished enough to move into on Christmas Day 1805. The pickets and gates completed the fort on New Years Day.
