For each Fall semester we start from scratch in our selection process and select the 15 most qualified applicants (actually, Fall students are selected during the previous Spring semester). The length of time an applicant has been waiting will typically have no effect on the selection process.

Once it is determined that you need an organ transplant, the next step is getting on the organ transplant waiting list: Call the transplant center where you choose to have your transplant. To locate a transplant center near you, ask your health professional or contact the United Network of Organ Sharing by going online at http://www.unos.org or calling (804) 782-4920. Schedule an appointment for an evaluation at the transplant center to find out if you are a good candidate for transplant.

There is no limit to the number of times a person may apply for admission into the SRT program. However, this alone will not improve your chances of being selected. Typically, students who have reapplied and been admitted to the program used the time in between to strengthen their musical abilities or make up for a deficiency in math or improve their GPA. The School of Music's other majors have entrance requirements, deadlines, and admission policies as well.

SRT is independently operated as a non-profit organization. This program was formerly part of the John Guest Team but has gained independence in 2005 to become a non-denominational parachurch ministry. No "waiting list" is used for the phlebotomy program. If the courses are filled when you decide to register, you should go to the Advisement Center and find out what prerequisites are necessary to have in place so that you can be prepared to register should a place become available. Check the website often for withdrawals and especially after "purge for lack of payment" dates.

No, the nursing program fills their allocation, then, places approximately 10 applicants as alternates. If you are not accepted into the program, you then must reapply the following year.

Yes. We are booked at least one to three (1-3) months in advance. We have a program which we put together which consists of several classes and a meeting with a nutritionist.
