Absolutely! The extended frequency response of the PAMDI is ideal for bass instruments. In fact the Low Eq Band is sweepable down to 25Hz. The upper end of this range is limited by ‘clipping’ which, in turn is limited by two factors, the supply voltage and the efficiency of the amplifier design.

I think the Sunbeams are probably the most sonically pure string I've heard to date. The nickel plating keeps things smoothed out. I used to offer other strings, but it just got to be too much to keep up with. If you don't like the Sunbeams you can certainly change the strings when you get the bass in your hands.

As far as I know, you can only get Bass at special events from Capcom. (As with "Mew" in "Pokémon") Those areas need a special condition to be entered. I don't currently know every one... For Internet-14, you need to collect at least 10 chips from Internet-13. Some areas can be accessed if you had a good Busting Level or didn't escape in the previous area, if you fail, you need to return to the beginning of the area.

The primary reason strings break is that "main" strings rub against "cross" strings when the ball is hit with spin. Gradually, this rubbing cuts a notch in the main string. When the notch gets deep enough the string cannot withstand the stretch caused by a strong shot, and it breaks. The thicker the string, the deeper the notch it will tolerate before breaking. That's why thicker strings last longer than thinner strings.

Classical (nylon string) guitars use fan bracing, where the braces run over the bridgeplate and block the area where the pickups need to mount, and so are unsuitable candidates for installation.

The Acoustic Lens poses a unique set of problems to amplify. It produces a very low output level and requires a very high input impedance to accurately reproduce a signal. Other commercially available preamplifiers, even the so-called "Piezo" types are designed to work with the output of a saddle-type or contact transducer, which put out a signal level typically 10 times higher than the Lens.

The Amulet is a stereo system (two completely independent channels), designed to mix or match the Acoustic Lens with other transducers, or to run two Lenses as a stereo pair. It can easily support a magnetic or saddle-type pickup in combination with the Lens, and the gain trimmers inside the internal preamp allow you to easily match the levels of your favorite pickup to the Lens.

You can parallel the two Acoustic Lens transducers together using a specially shielded Y-cable tht we have available, and plug them into one channel of the internal preamp, while the second channel accommodates the magnetic pickup. If we know that this is what you plan to do, we can supply a carefully matched set of transducers that will supply a balanced volume across the fretboard when connected this way.
