Probably not, unless you have devised a way of writing a language with a alphabet not usually used to write it. For example, English with the Cyrillic alphabet or Ukrainian with the Latin alphabet.

I coined the term in 1998 intending to use it as the name of a website design and translation agency I was planning to establish. The agency never really took off and I decided to use the name for this website instead. The word is a combination of the Latin omnis (all) and the Greek γλωσσα (glossa - tongue/language) and means 'all languages'.

(translation: do not expect it to translate arbitrary tcl code accurately nor even into the most efficient Perl/Tk equivalent. Translators usually work remotely using specialised software such as word processors and web design tools whereas interpreters work on-site along side you and your clients. Translating and interpreting are two very different skills and, although some people offer both services, it is important not to confuse the two when commissioning work.

To work with a translator in obtaining translated written materials it is important to inform the translator who the target audience is. In the case of Chinese language, this will determine which version of Chinese characters and expression style to use. The source documents should be well written - with attention paid to grammar, punctuation and spelling - and should be proofrood and/or spell-checked to eliminate typing errors. Avoid the use of puns or plays on words.
