We have an extremely generous limit of 35 MB. This translates to about 25 MB of original attachments before the encoding process (MIME) adds its overhead. Please be aware that your ISP may have a much lower size limit (see below).

The Moodle server has a finite capacity and the limit on uploads are set sitewide. We are working towards a solution that would allow different limits for individuals with greater requirements, but this is not expected in the immediate future. Each package is given a certain amount of storage space on our server. You should have plenty of space for adverage sized files. It's important to keep your files as small in size as possible without losing quality. The file size dictates how long it will take your customer to download the file.
