Just enough to keep them alive! Just kidding, but that is what we like to tell the kids! One of the things we like to teach the kids is to appreciate what they have at home. Sleeping in a tent for example, makes them appreciate having a bed and air conditioning at home.

That's difficult to say since each day is intentionally different to alleviate boredom. You can expect some short-distance running, weight training, obstacle courses, core training, circuits and jumping rope each week. On special days, we will go hiking. It's always an adventure, and you'll always have fun! We teach you a great deal about proper form, team work and core stability.

our programs, you will find regular cafeteria food that you would find in any college or university cafeteria. There is usually only one entree offered, but sometimes you have options. Fruit, vegetables, and salad are almost always available.

Camp Nubar has what we like to call great "camp" food. We have a well established food service company prepare all of our meals in a fully equipped kitchen. Menus are designed by certified nutritionists and food is prepared fresh daily. Every Sunday, we have a traditional Armenian shish kebab dinner, complete with rice pilaf, grilled vegetables, salad, and pita bread.

We don't have typical days -- if you want the same routine day after day, then you would probably want to join a fitness center. You can expect a mixture of cardio exercises, some running (less than a mile), weight-training, mat work, jumping rope, and sports-related games. Each day is designed to be fun and different, but never boring!

All you can eat buffet meals....Breakfast is usually fruit, porridge, eggs/bacon, toast, Lunch on the boat is sandwiches, fruit and snacks. Dinner is a delicious buffet of freshly-caught fish, chicken and lamb curries, fresh salads, saut?ed veges, even the traditional Fijian lovo meal cooked in the underground oven. Tea, coffee and Milo are provided 24/7. Beers and wine are paid separately by you on a tab.

Breakfast: Scrambled eggs, Pancakes w/ optional toppings, Sausage, Home fries, fresh fruit, cereal, juices, coffee, tea. Lunch: meatball subs, hotdogs, soup, French fries, salad bar, chips, crackers, fruit salad, cookies, beverages. PBJ sandwiches available. Dinner: BBQ chicken, Salisbury Steak, mashed potatoes, rice, green beans, salad bar, bread, butter and jelly, dessert and beverages. PBJ sandwiches available.

We have a full-camp kitchen that is headed up by a kitchen/cook staff. Good nutritional meals are our utmost concern. There are three meals a day with snacks. Please feel free to have your child bring his/her own snacks if they prefer.

There is no such thing as a "typical" class -- because every day is different! Generally -- in a five day a week class -- M/W/F will be more cardiovascular exercise based. You may do fitness drills, take a jog/run, do stairs, hills, jump rope, etc. T/Th are usually strength training focussed. On those days you might do free-weights, pilates, plyometrics, resistance bands, weighted balls, etc. No two days are ever the same.

There is really no such thing as a typical day. Professional astronomers hold many types of jobs, and since astronomy itself is such a multi-faceted subject, most astronomers find it difficult to describe a typical day. But certainly, a typical day does not include observing with a telescope. That is a misconception, and not how most astronomer hours are spent. Much of the time, an astronomer works at a desk, attends meetings, and works at a computer analyzing data or computing models.

A hearty, home-cooked breakfast may consist of Baked-Stuffed French Toast, Chokecherry Syrup, Fresh Fruit Salad, Bacon, Juice and Freshly Ground Coffee. A wonderful home cooked dinner could include Whiskey-Glazed Ribs, Lemon-Roasted Potatoes, Cole Slaw and Corn-on-the-cob and special dessert.
