Usually, dependent children are no longer eligible for coverage once they reach 19 year. However, children over 19 and under 25 years can continue to be covered under your plan as long as they are in full-time attendance in an educational institution recognized by the Canada Revenue Agency and are entirely dependent on you for financial support.
