A - If your TV has separate inputs for composite video and audio, then you just connect the video out from my game system to the video in on your tv and audio out from my game system to one of the audio in on your TV. If your TV only has an antenna input and no other inputs you need an RF modulator to modulate the video signal from my games onto an RF carrier so it can be connected to the TVs antenna input.

My player outputs S-video. Can it be connected to the SCART input on the back of my TV?

The answer is no. The circuit designed by me uses RGB signal wires on SCART connectors. TV can utilize those signals, but VCRs don't understand them. So if you try to connect this converter through your VCR you will not get any picture. If you build those more complicated circuits with composite video output then you can connect them to your VCR. This is normal for the moment. Analogic outputs are disabled when numeric ones are enabled (and vice versa). So you have to switch your connexion mode if you want to hear sound on TV. In Setup, if you set "Audio Out" : "SPDIF/RAW" you won't have any sound on analogic outputs. You have to set "Audio Out" : "Analog" to hear sound on TV using SCART or Stereo/5.1 connexions. Some older sets have analogue input only but to avoid piracy it is likely that set-top boxes for HDTV will reduce resolution to standard definition for analogue connections to the HDTV. That is certainly not what you want to happen! DVI and HDMI are the digital standards in use. HDMI is the newer standard. It can take a higher bit-rate and includes audio.
