The Golf Buddy uses rechargeable battery. A full charge of depleted battery only takes 3 to 4 hours and typically lasts for up to 10 hours of continuous use. The distance information provided by The Golf Buddy does not considered the slope of the fairway. However, Golfers can correct the distance difference owed to the slope by continuously training as The Golf Buddy provides the distance information with the same standard as the horizontal condition.

The Bullet To Go battery takes approximately 2 hours to charge on a standard 120V AC electrical outlet.

The fast-charge time for iPod is up to one hour. This charges the iPod battery to 80% capacity. The full-charge time is up to three hours.

The time required to charge a battery depends on the battery type, the capacity of the battery, and the type of charger being used. A higher mAh battery will take longer to charge than a lower mAh battery. In general, it will take 3-4 hours to "rapid charge" a battery to the 80% level, and an additional 8 hours to “slow or trickle” charge a battery to the 100% level. Batteries usually take two hours to charge if the operating system is not being used. If the battery does not seem to be charging, cycle the battery. In other words, discharge then recharge it again!

We recommend that you keep the device on the charger between treatments. A full charge will provide roughly two hours of treatment time, depending on intensity.

We do not guarantee the amount of charge held by a battery in any way at all on anything but our "Refurbished as New" machines. On these machines the battery will last for at least 1 hour of regular computing which does not use the DVD or CD drive.

The rate of self discharge for any battery depends on the storage temperature. At higher temperatures, batteries discharge at a higher rate and the reverse for lower temperatures. Ni-MH batteries self discharge at about 1 percent per day at normal room temperature and conditions ? or 30% of their charge. Li-Ion batteries have a lower self discharge rate.
