Yes. The Community Services and Housing Department determines eligibility for a subsidy to help with the cost of residency. Approved applicants also receive a monthly personal needs allowance to cover the cost of basic living expenses. Social assistance workers regularly visit hostels to take applications for financial assistance.

The Community Services and Housing Department does not operate any domiciliary hostels. Domiciliary hostel beds are made available through agreements with private home operators.

You will need to check the microsite for each specific hostel as facilities differ from hostel to hostel and from country to country. Most hostels have self-catering facilities and almost all have lockers for safe-keeping of valuables. Some have bars, and depending on where you go some even have swimming pools and saunas! Almost all hostels provide internet access and international telephones so you can stay in touch no matter where you are.

There are eight (8) scholarships available to complete the Graduate Certificate of Nursing (Forensic) in 2008. It is expected that the successful scholarship applicants will, on completion of the course, be employed by VIFM on the 'on-call' roster as a forensic nurse Examiner for a minimum period of two years. Because we know that travel can significantly increase the cost of participating in this event, partial travel subsidies will be available for airfare only. If the airfare of your domestic travel costs more than $150, Hillel will reimburse you for 50% of any amount over that.

SNAP is a cooperative effort created through the Department of Community Affairs (DCA) with the help of Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency (HMFA) to help municipalities develop comprehensive strategis for meeting neighborhood needs. SNAP's primary goal is to strategically invest financial and other resources in threatened but viable neighborhoods to stabilize and revitalize them and provide a significant and visible impact in the community.

Each child has a counseling session each week. One therapist is assigned to each cottage and works regularly with each resident to implement a plan of care that is determined shortly after arrival at the Home. Numerous therapeutic opportunities besides counseling are available; Chapel and music, education, recreation, life skills, hobbies, and crafts, horticulture and the vocational support center are among the most active.

Domiciliary Hospitalisation is a state where a person/patient is unwell that he/she requires medical attention at home itself because he/she is not in a position to go the hospital or there is no Place in the Hospital. Upon, Doctor certification stating the patient's position, the Patient becomes eligible for a claim under Mediclaim for Treatment at home.
