A Web page interface is now being used for EPD Mailing List subscriptions. This is actually more simple than some of the Email accessed subscription approaches. Be sure to read the information and follow the instructions. The list has movved among a number of servers so this author hopes he has kept up with the instructions. Go to http://www.arlingtonlist.org/listinfo/arlington and find the section called "Subscribing to Arlington." Our New Books List advertises books whose publishers have paid us a very modest fee. If you would like your book to be included, please ask your publisher to contact us. Contributors to the Encyclopedia may add books they have written or edited to the Books List for free, providing that they are in print and available to purchase online (either direct from the publisher or from a third-party bookseller).

We always recommend Sugden's The Complete History of Jack the Ripper as the single best book yet written on the case. It is, however, quite sizeable, and someone looking for a "lighter" read might do well with either Rumbelow's The Complete Jack the Ripper or Paul Begg's Jack the Ripper: The Uncensored Facts.
