Estimates for specific health conditions, such as diabetes, are calculated using special computer software that analyzes patterns within claim data. This software organizes data by health condition and gathers all costs including doctors, surgeons, x-rays, lab tests, hospital fees and prescription drugs together. We present costs based on the claims we've received from health care providers over the last 18 months.

The purchase, hire or lease of equipment for research projects should be fully costed. Research Councils will pay 80% of the first £50,000 of equipment purchases, and 100% of expenditure above this threshold. Note that for funders other than the Research Councils, these costs should be indexed for inflation as detailed above (see "inflation").

Title insurance rates are regulated by the State of Florida. Our office prides itself in charging the “minimum required by law”. The formula for calculating title insurance is very complicated on account of the many variables which affect a premium (i.e. endorsements, prior policy, special lender requirements etc.) However, below is a formula you can use to calculate the approximate amount of your title insurance. per thousand dollars of the sales price up to $100,000, and $5.

The percentage, which is related to the drill diameter is used to calculate the width of the copper ring that is around the drilling. Default is 25%. A drill diameter of, for example, 0.032 inches results in a ring width of 0.008 inches. In the next step EAGLE checks if this value is within the given minimum and maximum boundaries. If so, the diameter of the pad results for our example in (2 * 0.008) + 0.032 = 0.048 inches. Let's assume the minimum value is set to 0.010 inches.

Our boarding fees are calculated per night. On the drop-off date, you will pay for the first night regardless of the time of drop-off. You will pay for each night between the drop-off date and the pick-up date. On the pick-up date, you will NOT pay for another night if you pick up during our morning business hours (when available). You WILL pay for another night if you pick up during our evening business hours. For example, let's say your dog has a weekend reservation.

In the nonprofit world, indirect costs are usually part of the overall grant award. If an award is $100,000, the indirect costs are part of that total award. In research, indirect costs are usually in addition to the award. The award would be the $100,000 plus the indirect costs. For the CBCRP CRC awards, both the academic and community-based partners are eligible for indirect costs under certain conditions (see the CRC application for a full explanation of this).

The calculation of eligible costs follows the rules set out in Annex II of the model grant agreements, in particular from Article 13 onwards. Additional explanations are in the Guide for Proposers (annex 5). At proposal and negotiation stage, a realistic and justified estimate of the costs is needed. The actual eligible costs will be calculated at the end of the funded project phase, based on the documents provided by the consortium, and the funding will be defined accordingly.
