Is there a difference between Learning Style and Teaching Style?

There usually is little difference. Many teachers prefer to use the same techniques for teaching, as they use for learning. Teachers tend to present information they way they learn best. They believe the way they learned best in school is the best way to teach because they had good results and were successful. Teachers who prefer auditory and visual learning will mostly lecture, use class discussions and assign a lot of reading materials in their classrooms.
