Yes. In the account properties Outgoing Mail tab, select the Word Wrap check box. When Calypso sends messages, it will limit lines to X characters (the default is 76), regardless of the paragraph length. Each line will separated by a hard line break. It's a little obscure. Creating a TextArea with no horizontal scrollbar causes wrapping to occur automatically. The idea is that if you ask for a scroll to scroll viewing over to the right, there is no reason for the widget to do word wrap. So take away the scroll bar, and word wrap will be done instead. Supply TextArea.SCROLLBARS_NONE or TextArea.SCROLLBARS_VERTICAL_ONLY to the TextArea constructor to get word wrap. By default, a TextArea is created with both horizontal and vertical scrollbars. The Word-Wrap function in some applications does not know where to create a line break when text flows from one line to the next. Make sure you have the Auto Space button depressed before entering Japanese text into that application. If you have Office 97, you will be able to use a single byte Japanese font and will not be affected by this problem. Word wrapping is a bit peculiar perhaps. You can type lines as long as you like. By the time you send or queue a mail with long lines, Sylpheed will first wrap the lines to the line length you set up, and then the mail is queued. This is more convenient than you think. Once a line is wrapped (hard line breaks are inserted in the text) and you add something in a line there, the next line will move to a separate new line, leaving one or two words from the previous line "hanging there" alone. If you are compiling a WinHelp project then there are only three possible image alignments, left, centered in text and right. If you are compiling for HtmlHelp then you have more control.
