To check, open the Windows Media Player from your "Start" menu or desktop, and then click the "Help" menu and scroll down to "About Windows Media Player." The About window will tell you which version of Media Player you have. If you have a previous version installed, please download the most recent version and try watching Webcasts again. Note: Real Player is not compatible with Macintosh computers.

If you are using an old version of Windows Media Player the video stream will try to start but will not run smoothly. The sound will break up and the video will stop and start. Download and install a newer version of WMP and attempt to start the video stream again. This is usually an indication that your computer's cache is full and needs to be emptied. To address this problem you will need to delete temporary Internet files that are stored on your computer.

You open Media Player. You do click on the menu ? (Help) and you select Information on Media Player (About Windows Media Player). If Media Player opens in the side bar (bar multimedia) of Internet Explorer, you has to change some formulation. In the left inferior angle you should see a small triangle that it allows you to open a curtain menu.

Depending on your browser the system check may not be able to determine your version of the Windows Media Player. Note: If you do not have Windows Media Player in this location you may not have it on your system and will need to install it. Please refer to the "Check Your System" link in the top menu of the website for a link to download Windows Media Player.

To play DVDs in Windows Media Player (version 9, 10 or 11) you need a MPEG-2 decoder that is capable of decoding DVD video and is also compatible with WMP. The K-Lite Codec Pack contains a compatible decoder. Some examples of compatible decoders are: Cyberlink, DScaler5, InterVideo, MainConcept and nVidia PureVideo. There are two types of MPEG video, MPEG-1 and MPEG-2. The most common one of these two that is used in .mpg/.mpeg files is MPEG-1.

You need to have the K-Lite Mega Codec Pack or Real Alternative installed. The 'RealMedia DirectShow filter' and 'RealMedia codecs' that come with these two packages are required.

A test for the plug-in is automatically run on the PASS PRO login/registration page, and it should read as follows "Flash Player test successful" (the test is positioned at the top of the yellow registration form). If the test shows any other result (like: "You do not have a recent Flash Player") it is recommended that you follow the steps required to update your Flash Player (which is a quick and simple process)

Open the Windows Explorer, click on "Tools / Folder Options" and then on the tab "File Types". You have to change the associated application for the file types "PLS" and "M3U" (these are the file extensions for playlist files).

Our videos are for Windows Media Player 9. They will play in earlier versions but without the video codec, only the sound can be heard. Install the codecs from Microsoft?:
