The following message will be generated if the Microsoft? Office Visio? program is not ready to action a task. If the PC platform is low on resources this message will be common. The facility to schedule discovery and open automap views is resource intensive, you should not try this operation on a system that does not have enough resources.

Please check to make sure you have device internet connectivity by going to Pocket Internet Explorer and browsing to a web page. If you cannot browse to a web page please see your on device help for setting up an internet connection. An internet connection is required to access the Inrix Traffic Data. If you do have an internet connection the error could mean that the Inrix Traffic Data Server is unreachable due to upgrades or maintenance. Please try refreshing the data again after 10 minutes.

PDFing cannot find the email server you specified on the [System] page of the configuration form. You should check the host-name/IP address and the port-number used by your email server. You will see this message if the host cannot be found or the email server is not "listening" on the specified port. You may also adjust the number of times PDFing retries the connection and the delay between retries.

This message can be produced by any application linked to the WFDB library, including rdsamp and rdann. In order to read data files, these applications need to find a header (.hea) file for the input record you specify. The message indicates that the header file was not found in any of the expected places, or that it was unreadable. There are three common reasons why this can happen: The record name supplied to the application is not correct.

Whenever the XFree86 Xserver crashes, dies, ceases to exist or is inaccessible for any reason, you will see this error message. It is a message from an X-client (=any program running on your XFree86 Xserver, for example the window manager) telling you that it tried to connect to your Xserver, but failed to do something for "some" reason. Quoting only this message in a bug report is therefore utterly useless. Look in the server output for the real reason why the server died.

This means that your handle server is not responding to client requests. Make sure your handle server is running. If it is running, then check that ports 2641 and 8000 in your firewall are open to ALL incoming or outgoing requests, and make sure that the IP address in the prefix record is correct.

VNC requires TCP/IP network connectivity between the viewer and server computers. A simple test is to use the ping utility. If you can't ping from your viewer to your server, and vice-versa, than VNC will not work!

The news server periodically runs a program called "expire" which removes old articles from the news spool. The final phase of the expire program rebuilds the "active file," the file containing the list of newsgroups and articles on the server. To prevent customers from getting an obsolete copy of the active file, the server refuses connections to it, normally five to ten minutes.
