Make sure the Illustrator style map has been saved as an EPS map. All the Illustrator maps on the CD-ROM have been saved in PC EPS format. These will work with both PC and Macintosh applications. Our sample EPS maps download to your computer as text files and must be first opened in an illustration program such as CorelDraw, Illustrator or Freehand and then saved as an EPS file. Practically, the maximum reported size is 11 MB at a map with 22,000 nodes; after exporting to HTML and pasting to Microsoft Word, the very same content had 15.6 MB, with 1500 pages.
