This condition occurs most often when water is very cold. Cold water can hold more dissolved air than warm water. Therefore, some of the air comes out of solution in the form of tiny air bubbles when the water warms up.

Deco-Coat Products - Frequently Asked Questions
Deco-Coat Doming Resins are known in the industry for their efficient air release. The slow gelling epoxy systems usually release air bubbles on their own. However, to facilitate air bubble removal, a hot air gun or torch can be passed over the surface of all doming systems before the material gels.
Mid-State Swimming Pool Co., LLC - FAQ
A variety of events can cause air bubbles in the system. One of the most common causes is the water level not being up to normal (Center of the skimmer opening). Another cause can be skimmer and/or pump baskets that are clogged. Also one of the more difficult to find causes, is an air leak on the suction side of the system (anything between the pool and the pump basket).

When you have finished the installation, you may see lots of tiny little air bubbles under your decal (especially if there is a lot of solid vinyl surface). THIS IS NORMAL. Tiny bubbles (the size of zits) will simply disappear after a week or two, as they "leech out" thru the vinyl, molecule by molecule. If you have any larger bubbles (the size of an M&M) you should use a pin to poke a couple very tiny holes in the bubble, then squeeqee again.
FAQ - Window Tinting
The answer is yes. Unfortunately, most tint shops are not work areas that are sealed in a vacuum (vacuum-sealed: a space relatively empty of matter) so one will have tiny air particles caught onto the film. However, as the film cures, usually after a hot summer, it will tighten up around these sports and they will become even smaller and less noticeable.

Air Bubbles will commonly dissipate over a period of days and might not need to be removed by hand. If you do need to remove the air bubbles with some screen protectors you can use a credit card to slide across the screen and push the air bubbles out. If you need to reapply the screen protector in order to remove the air bubbles then on the reapplication use the edge of a credit card to slide along the back of the screen protector as you lay it down onto the screen.
Alumilite - Frequently Asked Questions
Cast Alumilite into a warm mold coated with baby powder. This will help the material flow better and cure more evenly. If you are using silicone rubber, stick the mold in an oven set at “Warm” for approximately 30 minutes or put your mold in a microwave on high for 1 minute per lb of rubber. Once your mold is warm to the touch, sprinkle baby powder or talc powder in the mold. Shake the powder around the mold so all areas are covered. Once covered, knock or blow out all of the excess powder.

There is nothing wrong with your filtered water, its just that the filter cartridge has not been flushed for long enough and some of the carbon powder which is left after manufacture is still present. So to fix this, lift up the black lever on the filter tap and leave it open for 3 minutes as this will fully activate the system and you will find that after doing this your filtered water will be sparkling clear.
Ordering FAQ, How to make Gel Candles, and Gel Candle Making...
The temperature you pour the gel at will produce the bubbles you want. In other words, if you pour your heated gel at 200 deg. F, you will have lots of bubbles. If you pour your gel at 175 - 185 deg. F. you will have fewer bubbles. This is contrary to what you may have heard and still may depend on how close you are pouring your gel. Pouring slowly at 185 Deg. F from close to the top of your glassware will limit the bubbles. Pouring at 200 Deg.

Trying to heat the material too rapidly is one cause – first make sure you're using the recommended oven temperature for the specific plastic. If you're using the correct oven temperature, then reduce the heating time. Some materials (i.e., TPE, Polycarbonate) will absorb moisture and that will cause this problem. It's best to keep these materials in their original packaging to reduce exposure to moisture and they may function best if pre-dried. Contact your supplier for directions.

Air bubbles may form when you fill the stripping chamber. However, they will not interfere with stripping due to the large volume of the chamber (500 μl). Lay the Stripping Clamp assembly horizontally to keep the air bubble(s) at the top of the chamber during the incubation steps.
You do not need to use a filter for one and 2-gallon containers as you will be performing 100% water changes and this will keep the water clean. You will not be "cycling" either one or 2-gallon containers. When cycling the 3-gallon and larger tanks, you will need to use filters. For example, the 3-gal Eclipse tank has all three types of filtration; biological filtration (good guy bacteria) via the biowheel and chemical and mechanical filtration via a carbon cartridge insert.
Frequently Asked Questions
There are a variety of factors that can impact the taste or smell of tap water but not change the quality of the water. In Charleston Water System's case, algae in our surface water, when put through the treatment process, can give off harmless compounds that may cause the water to taste earthy or musty. In most cases, taste and odor is a purely aesthetic concern, and is not a reliable indicator of water quality.
