Yes, the t?BagC2² EFB can display your aircraft position on charts with an attached GPS signal from an external source. You may use a stand-alone GPS unit or on-board avionics equipment with the ability to output GPS data feed. GPS interface can be either USB or Serial. If the GPS signal is being pulled from on board avionics equipment, you may need to use a 429 to RS232 (serial converter). Please refer to the avionics equipment manufacturers manual. First, use an approved "Designed for Windows XP" compatible external USB CD/DVD player, or any other USB type storage device via one of the provided USB ports on the Break Out Box.
