Each input file to the render program starts with 19 header records that describe image layout and processing options. Always start with a light or medium formula when you try a new brand. Light/medium/dark varies considerably from product to product. In general, the department store brand dark is heavier than the drugstore brand dark. The antique finish we use on our silver and gold highlights the design and makes it easier to read. Gold does not naturally oxidize so it is a bit artificial on gold. Then the piece is polished to highlight the design but the background is left dark.

To make use of the E2-enhanced background, you need to have the original symmetrized matrix. Call up gf3, read in the total projection, and use the SL and WI commands to create a .win file for slice, containing one or more wide gates on the E2-bump region of the spectrum. Depending on the nucleus, this is usually in the region of 1.1 to 1.6 MeV, but you should also be guided by the observed E2-bump problems in your escl8r gates.

for the E2 correction in levit8r, well, it's even more tricky. The present version needs a bit more work to make it a permanent, user-friendly solution to setting up the E2 correction term. Here is a rough prescription for how I do it in the meantime. I put the background spectrum to zero (by using a zero-multiplied projection as my background spectrum and using the levit8r CB command) and then take a big (single) gate on the E2 bump in levit8r, using the G command.

Your Black Book is an easy way to keep track of your favorite members and friends. To add someone to your Black Book select their message and then select "Add to Black Book". On all displays, black is the natural background color. Until recently (with Macs and Windows machines) black was a default for all graphics backgrounds. Macs and Windows use the "I am like a piece of paper" principle. Here is the problem. Many displays don't have perfect color convergence. When the color convergence is bad, white backgrounds tend to bleed over and produce fuzzy displays.

htm files were for old Windows operating systems which only supported 3 letter extentions. *.html was for other operating systems which supported four letter extentions namely UNIX based machines. They have exactly the same content, but it's just what your server supports.
