We needed to give a specific amount to make the dose effective and that would have been a capsule too large for most to swallow so we broke it down to 3 smaller capsules, but take them all at once. Keep in mind that if you have moderate to severe arthritis, it is recommended that you double up on the dosage for the first 1 -2 bottles as a loading dose, and in that case you would take 3 caps in the morning and another 3 in the afternoon or evening.
