No. Our coaxial pickup and preamplifier are specially shielded so that even without a ground the pickup will not hum. Some of our customers live or perform in countries that do not have AC ground. They are very happy to report that Highlander pickups are exceptionally clean and perform perfectly all over the world. The Magnophonic Pickup for the National Tricone is a magnetic pickup (not one of our coaxial pickups).

It means "asymmetry correction". The name ought to be balanced around the central 'P', but "Canalplan" is heavier on the left. Adding the asymmetry correction makes the name perfectly balanced.

Programmable keypads are PC-compatible, programmable keyboards that work with a standard keyboard or as a standalone. Keyboard codes can be sent from the keypad and the regular keyboard at the same time. The keypad communicates with MacroBLASTER™ by sending a numeric code that identifies the key pressed. The key corresponds to the macro that the operator wishes to activate.

A physical keypad is activated by pressing a physical key. A virtual keypad has “virtual” keys that are activated by other input sources. Use MacroBLASTER™ with speech recognition or bar code to activate the virtual keys and the corresponding macros. As with the physical keypad, create up to 18 rows and 18 columns of virtual buttons. You can also have a single layout that has some keys activated by touch and others activated by bar code or voice commands.

This is a longstanding bug with the G1 and Pro 90 IS, and a relatively new bug with the G2. With the G2, it was introduced with a new camera firmware (G2 1.0.0.0 worked, 1.1.0.0 does not). We haven't fixed this bug yet since none of the active gphoto2 developers owned one of these cameras until recently (i.e. updated his G2's firmware). Armour class or AC for short, is your armour defense rating. The better your AC rating, the harder you are to be hit. There is also no way for you to know your armor class, and this is quite intentional.
