Why does the flame in my candle keep going out?
Personal Esscents - Frequently Asked QuestionsChances are, the wick has been cut too short. If a wick becomes too short to light, carve away enough wax around the wick(s) in order to re-light the wick(s). You may get a fairly large flame at first, but as the melt pool expands, the level of the melt pool will rise, creating a smaller flame. When you have achieved a full melt pool, you can extinguish the flame(s), let the wax cool, then trim again if necessary. See similar questions...

The flame has dwindled in size and now looks like a candle flame. What happened?
Gas & Electric Lighting - FaqCarbon has built up somewhere in the system and is inhibiting the flow of gas. After you have turned off the gas and allowed the valve assembly to cool, remove accumulated residue from inside the burner. Turn on the gas and light the tip. When I light my cooker I don't get a blue flame. All I get is a yellow flame. What's wrong?
King Kooker: FAQ'sAdjust the air shutter to the most open position to allow more oxygen flow. If this does not produce a blue flame, there could be an obstruction in the venturi tube. Remove the hose, spring and air shutter from the venturi tube. Look into the venturi tube to see if there is a blockage. Sometimes insects build nests or webs inside during storage. Use a wire coat hanger or something similar to remove the blockage. Reconnect the cooker, perform the leak test and light the cooker again. See similar questions...
How should I light my cigar with a Blue Flame lighter?
Answers to our FAQsAfter cutting your cigar - if applicable - first heat up the end of the cigar by placing the cigar in a horizontal position in one hand and putting your lighter in a horizontal position in your other hand. Never light a cigar while holding it in your mouth. Rotate the cigar against the flame until it is glowing. It is not necessary to put your cigar into the flame. The flame heat at 3 or 4 cm from the nozzle is enough to light it. See similar questions...
What is the significance of the white, blue, and black colors of the caddies VideoDiscs come in?
RCA SelectaVision VideoDisc FAQThe color of the caddy often indicates some information about the disc inside. White caddies are the most common, and usually indicate a monophonic, non-interactive disc, but some of the later stereo and dual soundtrack releases came in white caddies, and some of these releases appeared in both white and blue caddies. Blue caddies indicate the disc is recorded in stereo sound or indicate the disc is a dual soundtrack (A/B) title. See similar questions...
Why are some of the blue airport symbols missing on the ND?
Aerowinx FAQThis is a design limitation of the "ARPT" display mode in Precision Simulator 1.3. Although the missing airports may be available in the database, they appear on the Navigation Display only when the actual distance to the aircraft is smaller than ca. 80 NM. This affects only the "ARPT" mode (blue circles). Enroute airport symbols and fix info symbols etc. have no such limitation. See similar questions...
WHY DON'T YOU MAKE MODELS OF FAMOUS CARS LIKE THE BLUE FLAME OR THE BLUBIRD?
Ugo Fadini LSR Models - FAQMost, if not all, the vehicles that made the history of the "absolute" Land Speed Record have been modelled by now and most are currently available from other specialized manufacturers, who are also friends and we all try hard to avoid duplication. Apart from this, it would just not be feasible to produce a new model, no matter how better, of a LSR car that most collectors already have. See similar questions...

Why is it blue?
Stardust - Frequently Asked QuestionsAerogel has a blue cast for the same reason that the sky is blue. How can I stamp on velvet?
FAQsFirst, gather your materials: you must use either Rayon or Silk velvet for good results. I have had the best success with a blend of 35%Rayon/65% Acetate velvet. Silk velvet is also a good candidate. Both are expensive, so look for sales! Make sure to ask about the fabric content if it is not marked; it's that important. Buy a small amount and test it at home before purchasing large amounts for a project. See similar questions...

This greater area includes Rangiora, Woodend and Kaiapoi, with a flexible line beyond those towns to recognise residential areas such as Darfield, Oxford and other communities that have an impact on Christchurch. For Selwyn District, there's Rolleston and Lincoln, but Darfield is excluded. See similar questions...
