On a Shared JVM Plan you can't restart Tomcat on your own. You will need to email us when you need Tomcat restarted and we'll do it for you. On Private JVM Plan you'll have full control over Tomcat and you'll be able to restart it at any time through SSH (instructions will be given to you in an account activation email).
