Yes you may install a satellite dish and/or cable TV per the provisions of the Telecommunications Act of 1996. Nope, cable TV is not available on Kwaj. The TV service we do have is provided by AFN, the US Armed Forces Network. We currently have a whopping eight channels, all delivered over-the-air. This means you get to dig-out the rabbit ears antenna that has been collecting dust in the attic. Reception varies widely and depends on whether the antenna has a clear line-of-site with the broadcast tower and what type of dwelling you live in (metal trailers seem to block much of the signal).
