It should only be used in exceptional circumstances, when there is no other alternative because the institution that you need does not exist in the list of institutions and you are unable to wait for it to be created on the school table. (An example of this might be transfer credits at the time of graduation.) When the institution has been created, you should remove these transfer credits and re enter them with the correct institution.

Expenditure Projects are used in GA and are set up to receive all expenditure (Labor and OTPS) charges. Note: It is common for a single project to be used in GL to accept revenue and be used in GA to accept expenditures. This is referred to as a P-A-P project/award structure. Western Washington University is a regionally accredited institution of higher education. Many students who enroll in the Emergency Management Certificate program use the certificate courses to fulfill undergraduate graduation requirements at their home institution. Students transferring from an accredited four-year institution may be able to transfer third- and fourth-year business courses. We regularly grant transfer credits to students who have studied in institutions outside Canada. These assessments are completed on an individual course-by-course basis. It is always up to the institution that you are matriculated with whether or not they will accept credits from another school into your degree program. However, since courses are from regionally accredited institutions, they should transfer at a minimum as electives or, with prior understanding, as a program requirement. Students who need transcripts sent to other colleges must request them in writing.

This depends on the experiential option. Although departmental exam credit would not be honored, portfolio and training credit may be considered on a case-by-case basis. This might involve a meeting with a faculty assessor, or a request to see original documents.

The program to which you apply will determine if your previous graduate level coursework will apply to your program of study here. The Admissions Office does not make that determination.
