On some models of the Portfolio, there is a problem with the MKDIR (MD) command. The designers of the Portfolio never anticipated a harddrive connected to the unit. The MD command can not handle drives larger that 2mb. BSE had to create their on version of the MD command, called ATMD, to bypass this problem. It is included with the Portfolio driver.
