The court uses these numbers to identify your case. These numbers are on your citation, the paperwork the court sent you, and your receipt. Please take care to enter this number correctly when registering, since this is the number that will be printed on your certificate. Failing to enter the correct information can result in your certificate of completion not being processed correctly.

For the security of your personal information, this site will only perform searches on the ticket number. If you do not have your ticket number, you can call our Customer Service Office at 1-866-247-1951. If your ticket was recently issued, it is possible it has not been entered into the database, yet. Please check back in a day or two, and if you still cannot find it call the Customer Service Office at 1-866-247-1951.

Parking citations may be paid through the mail by enclosing the bail amount listed on the citation, and mailing it in the envelope provided with the citation. You may pay the penalty by mailing the citation in the accompanying envelope to: City of La Mirada, P.O. Box 2081, Tustin, CA 92861-2081. Please include the citation number on the check and envelope. You may send check, money order, or cashier's check. DO NOT SEND CASH.

To contest a parking citation you must submit a written statement requesting review of the citation within 21 days of receiving the parking ticket. The written statement and the original parking ticket must then be mailed in the envelope provided with the ticket. The citation will be reviewed and liability will be determined. If the violator is found liable for the citation, they can then request a hearing.

YES, regardless of any prior oral or written responses you, the Respondent, may have made to the facts alleged, a timely answer must nevertheless be filed in writing following your receipt of the Citation and Complaint. A copy of your written answer must be mailed to the Complainant. You may, but do not have to, use the answer form enclosed.

You, the Respondent, are directed to file a written answer with Registrar of Contractors No Later Than TEN (10) Days after the Date that the Citation was mailed. Written answers sent by mail must be RECEIVED no later that 15 days after the date the citation was mailed.

If you get a parking citation you have three options. You MUST do one of the following three within 21 days of receiving the citation: Contest the citation if you believe it was issued in error. Contest the citation if you believe it was issued in error. You can do this by filing an Initial Administrative Review ONLINE or at SC140 Campus Police or the Campus Police Office. This appeal process is in accordance with California Law.

If a citation is not paid or appealed within 21 days from the date it was issued, a "Notice of Delinquent Parking Citation" to place a hold on the vehicle registration is mailed to the registered owner of the vehicle. Failure to respond to notice results in a hold being placed on the vehicle registration through the Department of Motor Vehicles, and a late fee will be applied.

Citations that carry the tag, [PubMed - in process] or [PubMed - as supplied by publisher] have not yet gone through NLM's quality control procedures and indexing process. It is during this process that errors are identified and corrected. It is not necessary to notify NLM of an error at this stage. However, if the error is still present when the above tags are no longer on the citation, please report it to the NLM Help Desk and include the information below (or as much as possible).

The National Library of Medicine (NLM) displays the author's name as it appears in the article at the time of publication, only the last name plus the first two initials (e.g., Fauci AS) are used. Corrections for the misspelling of author names are handled as follows: Citations that carry the tag, [PubMed - in process] or [PubMed - as supplied by publisher] have not yet gone through NLM's quality control procedures and indexing process.

Answer: Every statement of “fact” that is not “public knowledge” is expected to carry its own specific citation of source. (For instance, a statement that the Civil War began in 1861 would be “public knowledge” because that date is easily found in an array of sources; no source needs to be cited. However, a statement that a certain individual enlisted in a specific unit on a certain day is not public knowledge and must be supported by a reliable source.
